My name is Alex Aleman and I can show you a Guatemala that not many get to see and experience.  I have traveled to Guatemala and all of the Central American countries and I have gained a wide range of knowledge on the region.  I have backpacked from Baja California, Mexico to Nicaragua, Central America.  I have also made various trips from Los Angeles to Central America in my 4x4 Isuzu Rodeo.  I have camped on people's yards and ranches and stayed in cheap to high end hotels. My experience in Central America has been so life-changing that I recently decided to move from Los Angeles to Guatemala.  I now reside in a small village called Jobompiche (Wood Pecker in Mayan) located on Lake Peten Itza.  I chose this village for its beutiful beaches, good people, small size, and for the fact that it is far away from the craziness and fast life of the big city.  I now offer my expertise and love of Guatemala and all of the Central American countries to any visitor who wants an enriched, colorful and life-changing experience.
